"Between the Years"

I know i'm late. Have not been updating lately. Everything was so busy with christmas (it's exhausting to eat like 3 full days^^) and my bestie her birthday. So belated Happy Birthday to my one and only best friend - the best on earth. =) I made a huge cake for her and i'm pretty sure she loved it. The hard work was worth it. It took me about 4hrs to bake it. And i also made a fruitcake and some pink Hello Kitty Muffins... xD

Another great thing what happend was that my parents in the USA told me that they (finally) got a webcam. So we were able to videochat on the 25th. I was so excited to see them and i'm still happy about it. It's always nice to see and hear them. They also met my Bestie for the first time.. Only through the videochat but it'S still different to a photo. So F and I try to visit them next year. Well i'm going for sure, we just have to figure out how to get her over there.. Her Boss probabaly has a problem with her getting like 2-3 weeks off in a row. But it would be super awesome if she could come, this way i can show her everything overthere... All the places i've hung out and my school and the lake and everything. We can take nightly rides through Little Rock with Em and Dustin in his cool Mustang. xD Hope for her to get off for at least 2 weeks.

OK, now. 2010 is almost here, only a few ours left. I can't believe it. Where did 2009 go? It was a really great year for me. I will write about my Year 2009 early January. Have to go now, we've to get ready for New Years Eve Celebration.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I didn't have a christmas feeling this year but since christmas is almost over (well it just started^^) i kinda miss it already.. :)
First. Thank You so much to my family for being around, having awesome food and thank you for my presents... i got a IPOD TOUCH and i am sooooo happy about it. Playing with it all the time now.. HAHA its so funny.. and now i'm even more convinced that i want an iphone. and i am going to buy it next year. Either in China or in the USA. So excited... xD

angels in Frankfurt

Thursday, December 17th, 2009. 9am. Kassel/Germany. Café Hurricane. Laura was freezing and waiting for her angles to arrive! 9.15am angels arrived. Day could start. Breakfast. Ate. Got outside. Got into the car. Naomi drove. Destination -> Frankfurt (and not only the airport,know them more than i wish i would). Bye Kassel. Hello Frankfurt. Arrived. Got out the car. Walked. Took photo with fruit. Looked at Xmas-Market. Were stared at. Looked all damn cute. Walked. Being Silly. Walking to the Bridge. walking on the Bridge. Taking pictures. Walking back to city. Getting into a warm mall. Walked. Looked. Went to Orion. Made fun. Of everything. McDonalds. Cheeseburger. Chickenburger. Cigarettes. Walked. Freezing. Coffee. Alex made a phonecall. Waited. Talked. the amazing P!NK

Finally the day has come. Franziska and I went to Hannover to see P!NK live on stage. It was our second time to see her (first was 2006) and it was awesome. I really have never seen such a great, awesome and amazing stageperformace in my life. She rocked it from the first song (Bad Influence) until the last (Glitter in the Air). It's amazing was she does while singing. I mean she were swinging in like 10m above us and just jumped backwards toward the stage, at that moment my heart kind of stood still. She was just falling and singing. I know she does that every show and she is trained to do it but still it was amazing to see it. Now i could write on like this for the next 20 pages because the whole show was like that. She just rocked. I felt honored to be part of the crowd (well i was supposed to be sitting, mostly i was standing tho (different story why i'm not in the crowd crowd)) and to experience the last show of her Funhouse-Tour. She had 156 shows for Funhouse and that's just freaky.
LoL.. well the funniest thing was.. She performed "So what" and one of her dancers was supposed to play the role of her husband like it is in the music-video but suddenly, she was singing and walking toward him and took his hood of and we just heared a scream. Her husband kind of surprised her on stage and was playing his own part without her knowing. She was scared and shocked you could tell that on her face. She stoped singing and was so embaressed..LOL.. but it was funny and her husband Carey Hart (Motorcross) got his cloth ripped off and got into a pillow fight right on stage. It was sooo hilarious!
Ok as i already said I could write much more about it but i'm just not doing it.
I'll come to and end but i want to say to everybody who has never seen her live but likes her music. Go and enjoy the best female musician around. It's worth it, i would go again every day.

oh and it was freaking cold, couldn't feel my hands and feeds after a while but the waiting was worth it.

my brothers bday

I know, i know i'm kinda late. My brothers birthday was saturday. We (my parents and I) went to Marburg and visited him. It was nice but extremly cold. I couldn't feel my feeds anymore. So belated happy birthday big bro! :)

first snow

I couldn't believe it, i saw snow yesterday. My friends and I went to Eisenach and visited the "Wartburg" and it snowed. We all were excited like little children right before santa comes. We don't have that much snow where i'm coming from so we kinda freaked. It was nice just playing with it, having some snowfights and looking at a city with a white head. I love snow and i wish we would have it more often. We'll see, winter just started, hope for more.






Eisenach was pretty cool itself. The "Wartburg" was really great, the historical christmas market was just another great add to a wonderful day. Eisenach is about 1,5 hours with the train from Kassel and we don't pay because of our studentcard. :)
After our little journy to Eisenach we got back to Kassel, did some grocerey shopping and had raclette with more friends. It also was great, we played nobody's perfect and phase 10 again. I love doing stuff like that, i don't have to have a party, just sitting together, cooking and chilling is fine. They left at 3:30 in the morning and i finally got to go to bed after about 20 hours - but they were worth it. xD

Nobody is Perfect -> Friday

Today (well actually yesterday) Naomi, Daniel, Hinni and I played the game Nobody is perfect. It was so funny. Hinni was the greatest. His answers were just hilarious.. *kleine wühlmäuse*^^ They got here at 7pm and just left (now it's 1am) and we've to get up in 6 hours. We are going to Eisenach tomorrow (well today), just sightseeing in the city and to check out the christmas market. Hope we'll have fun but i'm pretty sure we will. It's always funny with them. I love them all so much! Never expected to find such great friends in the beginning of my life here in Kassel. I met Naomi the very first day of Uni - i shared my plant with her.. haha!! xD
It's always nice that they come over to my place, since i cleaned almost the whole day it was great to relax with them. I don't know but our bathroom gets dirty so fast. We clean it and not a hour later you could start all over again. That's something i really get annoyed of. Oh well.....
It was a pretty normal day, nothing spectacular happend. We had lots of laughs and funny moments but nothing i will think of in like month...well maybe the *wühlmäuse*!!!
OK, i think that's enough for this post. I should go to bed now, my alarm gets of in 6 hours..... :(

Donating Bloodplasm - Yes or No?

My flatmate went to donate Blood and Bloodplasm and he said it's cool and i should try it. Well since i want to help others i tryed a couple of times. My first blood donation went well but then they wanted my plasm and i really have weired veins. They keep rolling away. They found it and want to get the needle ready and as soon as they try to get me all set up my veins just roll away. I know it sounds funny but it actually isnt that funny. The first time with the bloodplasm was ok i guess, they tryed my right arm because usually they wont get anything on my left side but right wouldnt work that day so i'd to move to a different chair so they could try my left. It worked. I got a bruise on the right side but it didn't hurt. A week later i wanted to go the second time and i told them they should use the left (because it worked last time)...well it wouldnt work, my veins just rolled and rolled, they didn't catch one. They said they try the right arm again after trying on the left about 5 times. Since i still had that bruise they couldn't use the vein they wanted and took a different one more visable... well the thing what happend was, the lady who did that was full of my blood and the venous valve kinda messed up. So i couldn't donate that day, i got one with two more bruises and two arms in pain. But i still didn't give up, a week later i went a third time. They did the left side again and it worked perfectly....at the beginning! After donating 1/4 bloodplasm the needle stoped working and my blood wouldn't get through. They tryed my right arm again and it worked. Ok i had two in needles, one on the left and one on the right - yeah that really is something i like - not! Since right worked they wanted to get the left needle out of my arm and they made a mistake (lady was full of my blood again) and it hurted like hell, i can't describe the pain. I will post a picture of the huge bruise i have now and it still hurts really bad. So i don't know what to do. Should i go one more time? I really want to donate it, first i can help and second we get money for it, and i could really use that money. I mean it worked on the right side, so should i try a next time? I look like a junkie so. I just don't know - any suggestions?

to start this for what its actually for - December 10,2009

The day began quite stressful today. Since i forgot my charger at home i had to use a different cellphone. The ones who really know me, know that i am a little confused sometimes and i forgot to change the date and time, so my alarm wouldnt work. Thanks to Bjoern (my flatmate) and his girlfriend (they were talking), i woke up just right, i even had time to take a shower and smoke a cigarette. I just had to ran to the tram :) I had one class today - self-determination and inclusion options for handicaped people- i like the class but i always think about skipping it. It sucks to get up only for 1,5 hours class. But i went and i enjoyed it. It's really interesting and i also like the teacher a lot. After that i went home, coooked, started that blog and went grocery shopping. Wuuuhuuu i also bought a microwave. FINALLY! xD
Yeah today kinda was boring or just a normal day?? who knows. Well now i'm watching TV with my other flatmate, Hinni!
So i say good night for today and i will write more tomorrow! :)

Passion

For those who wonder who that (half) naked man is on my Header. It's Chester Charles Bennington the lead singer of Linkin Park. Speaking of Linkin Park i should mention that this is my passion. I am a extremly huge and fanatic fan. Ever since my best friend forced me to listen to Crawling (their second release) i couldn't get enough. Some really say i'm a freak, crazy and not normal. Well maybe i am all that but for those who are thinking and saying that, at least i've something i really love and care for. I know it seems crazy what i do and that i'm such a big fan but i am so proud to call myself a fan of the greatest band. I got two Linkin Park Tattoos (no, you can't wash them off, they're real!) and i'm so in love with them, i'm already thinkin about getting my next one. Some might say i will regret it one time, i wouldn't be a fan anymore within 10 years. Well it could come that way (i don't think so) but at least i can say, Linkin Park defined my youth. It will always be a part of my life and not a little part either. So if you don't like it just keep it to yourself or say it in a nice way. You don't have to judge me for it. I am still the same person, just some of my bodyparts where decorated. xD

a lot of thank you's

It has been a little more than two month now since i moved out my (parents) home. I started University in Kassel. I like it so far. It's nothing i expected but i'm totally enjoying it. I met some awesome people and i love hanging out with them. The lectures are fine, i mean i never expected it to be funny, i knew it's gonna be boring. But i still like it and i havent regret it. I study Social Works and i truely hope i can reach my goal and finishing my Bachelor and maybe my Master. I still want to go to India and help kids who suffer so much. Sometimes i really think it isn't right that i've such a great life and other suffer so much and have to fight for their daily bread. I can't change that and i know that but the least i can do is to help and give them some hope - that's what i really want to do.
After that i want to move permanently to the US. I used to be an exchangestudent (05-06) and i fell in love with the country, the people and everything related to the US. I had (and still have) the most amazing family someone could ask for. I am so thankful that i met the raleys. They gave (and give) me so much, i really feel like their daughter and they'll be in my hearts forever. I LOVE YOU RALEYS!
I hope i can do everything i want to do, i know it's going to be hard but i'm ready to fight for it.
Since i thanked the Raleys i need to thank my parents. Without them i wouldn't be the person i am today. They always supported me, without them i could have never done this exchangeprogram, i wouldn't be where i am today - they always believed in me and on hard and desperate days they were there, just to stay with me and help me. Thank you Mama and Papa...
Honestly i've to say i've a great life, two awesome families, great friends which i love so much, the best future in front of me and i had a really good childhood - everything they tryed to teach me is what i can teach others today.

OK enough of that. :) but i want to thank my best friend real quick - you are my girl. I love you more than anything else, without you life would suck. You are the best that ever happend to me. I couldn't imagine a life without you. Thank you honey!!!

hey,
i was thinking about creating my own blog for a long time now. Since my life has changed pretty much i finally came to the point where i really wanted you to know whats going on in my crazy life.
I looked at so many blogs from friends and others and i just loved the idea and wanted to become a owner of one too. I try to update it daily with news, stories and pictures. Just let me know if you have any concerns or ideas for me making it better. I'm looking forward to start this project and i would be thankful if some of you just check it and read it. To explain my blogname: My friends (Franzi and Tomi) call me toothy, just like the purple character of happy tree friends. We are the "HAPPY THREE FRIENDS" and we thought it would be funny to get the names of the characters with our favorite color. So i am toothy, Franzi is Giggles (pink) and Tomi is Nutty (green). The Juicy comes from my last name... :)
